Why Shop or Donate?

Shopping and donating to Foster Army Animal Rescue Thrift Store helps provide needed funds to save pets like Hermes. This ten-week old kitten dragged her back leg behind her, so we quickly rushed her to the vet to see if it was broken. X-rays revealed a shocking secret: Hermes leg was indeed broken, however she also had a major hernia in her diaphragm, which was smooshing her intestines and lungs. Without immediate surgery, she would die. The surgery was long, risky, and intricate, but Hermes will be able to live a normal, happy life once she has recovered.  Check out FAAR's continued effort to help pets who need your help by clicking on the picture below.
