How cute is sweet tripawd Kava? This little guy was ready for some much-needed care when he first entered our foster program. He first headed for the groomer to get rid of his urine-soaked mats. Then he was off to the vet for neuter, bloodwork, vaccines, dental, antibiotics, and xrays. He had an ear infection, his nose had a skin infection, and he has spondylosis which requires supplements and arthritis medication. Once the basics were taken care of, we were then able to order a custom-made prosthetic device to help him get around, and start him on acupuncture. More xrays and some herbal medication for his nose was the next order of business.
