Digby’s life nearly ended on the street.

After being struck by cars, this little survivor was left broken and in pain. At the shelter, he was just another injured dog — the kind most people walk past, the kind too often written off as “unadoptable.”

But at Foster Army Animal Rescue, Digby’s life mattered.

We rushed him into surgery to repair the damage from his accidents. Then came weeks of strict crate rest, followed by slow, careful rehabilitation to stretch out his muscles and help him heal. It wasn’t easy. But Digby proved himself to be a fighter.

Day by day, he grew stronger. With the patience and love of his foster family, he began to enjoy the simple joys again — gentle walks, playtime with other dogs, curling up with his foster cats.

Today, Digby has been cleared for adoption. With a little kindness (and a few tasty treats!), his sweet and trusting nature shines through.

Digby’s journey is exactly what Foster Army stands for: giving a second chance to the overlooked, the broken, the ones left behind. Because of you, Digby didn’t die alone on the street.

Because of you, he has a future filled with hope, healing, and love.
